The marking of fire lanes on private property devoted to public use
are required on all parking areas and other similar places, so as to
insure that fire fighting and other lifesaving equipment shall have
access to all portions of the property al all times.
If fire lane markings are
not clearly visible, fines may be issued to the property owner. Now
is the time to have your firelanes re-marked.
Blast and Stripe can assist
you with your building permit application to be submitted to the building
inspector. The plans that accompany building permit applications will
include the location and marking of fire lanes and shall be submitted
to and approved by the Fire Marshal and a permanent record of the marking
of the proposed fire lanes must be maintained by the property owner.
